Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Long Lost Gamers. By using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to agree to these Terms. You are responsible for activity under your account, accurate information, and secure access to your authentication account. Notify us promptly if your account is compromised.
Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You give Long Lost Gamers a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and process that content as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service. Profile handles and related gaming information may be publicly visible and searchable.
You represent that you have the right to submit your content and that it does not violate another person's privacy, publicity, intellectual-property, or other rights. Do not post sensitive personal information, including addresses, phone numbers, real names, private messages, or other real-world identifying details about another person. Do not impersonate someone or falsely claim ownership or verification of an account.
Linked services
If you link a service such as Discord, you authorize us to access and use information covered by the permissions shown during authorization for purposes described in our Privacy Policy. Your use of that service remains subject to its terms. We do not control third-party services or changes to their APIs or policies. Disconnecting stops future Discord syncs.
Acceptable use
You may not:
- use the service in violation of applicable law;
- harass, stalk, threaten, exploit, or try to identify or contact someone for an unlawful or harmful purpose;
- scrape, harvest, sell, or misuse profiles or personal data;
- attempt unauthorized access to accounts, data, or systems;
- interfere with the service, introduce malicious code, evade rate limits, or automate access without permission; or
- submit unlawful, deceptive, fraudulent, or infringing content.
If you discover unauthorized access or a vulnerability, access no more data than needed to report it. Promptly notify us and delete data obtained without authorization.
Moderation and termination
We may remove content, limit access, suspend accounts, or stop providing the service when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, enforce these Terms, comply with law, or address misuse. You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time.
Service changes and availability
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, including third-party integrations. We do not guarantee that the service, profiles, or imported data will always be available, accurate, complete, or current, and we do not verify that any profile, handle, or search result belongs to a particular person.
Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all express or implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not verify every user, handle, relationship, or search result and are not responsible for user conduct.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Long Lost Gamers and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, goodwill, or opportunities. Where liability cannot be excluded, aggregate liability will not exceed the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the service changes. We will post revisions here and update the date, and may provide additional notice of material changes. Continued use after revised Terms take effect means you accept them.
